So far I got these :

Helmet :
Moncal whom I'm still waiting for a reply for a quote.

Flight Suit :
Found the purple material. Ordered 5 meters from Spotlight. 8 weeks wait since 4th March. So I'm looking at approximately 4th May ready.

Veil :
Purple material on top and red silk below bought. Just need to sew together.

Greebles :
Ordering from pink_wesell. Below is the full order. US$150 + US$30 for shipping
5 greeblies + brooch

hose connectors x 2
toe guards + spikes
hand + thumb guards
Crescent piece for stomach armor + 4 of the oval shape pieces
big hose connector + small crescent for stomach armour
extra : five small pieces for helmet & extra pair of toe spikes

I've still a long long long way to go ...

Longer than expected ...

Looks like the helmet I might have to wait up to a year for it. MonCal is a busy man. But I still love the helmet kits that he has done and am gonna order one.

Still waiting for his reply though.

Looks like Zam has to be on hold for a little while. Looking at all the parts, it might even take me 2 years to finish.

Contacts for helmet & greeblies

Contacted Dargas of The Dented Helmet for a full set of greeblies raw.
But not sure if he's still commissioning to do it.
About $150 USD excluding shipping.

Also contacted Moncal for the kit for Zam's helmet.
That would be very tough to do on my own.
But heard from hasenscharte that he got on the waiting list 2 months ago and he's only number 10!
Even if I do get on the list. It's gonna be impossible to be ready by next year Chingay.
Hope he replies favourbly soon.
*crosses fingers and toes*

Meanwhile will try to source from other places.
I still need the boots, armour and blaster. Hrmmm.
Oh and leather for the vest and skirt.

Sent a sample mail to Germany

A fellow forum user in the Dented Helmet PM-ed me to ask how the cloth I got for the undersuit looks like.
I decided to just mail it to him for his gf to see.

A start of something challenging ...

I know Zam is going to be tough.
But I'm going to take it on as a challenge and deadline myself for Chingay 2014.
A lot of pieces not to mention the leather and colouring.

But ... so far I found the right purple for the under suit. And got the red silk for the inner side veil.
Need to wait 8 weeks for the undersuit material though. Bought the remaining 1 meter for sampling.

Let's see how things go.
